Rooftop KLOUD offers a breathtaking vantage view of Seoul’s skyline, with tables lined along the terrace’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Located amidst shorter buildings, customers are able to catch a breathtaking city view from the heart of Gangnam.
This is a great spot to watch the sunset and it is also especially pretty at night when the city lights set the dark sky aglow.
Extensive menu & artisan cocktails

Boasting a huge bar that spans across the side of nearly the entire restaurant, you can rest assured that there are tons of different mixology creations to choose from. This includes artisanal cocktails, champagnes, wines, and handmade craft beers by local microbreweries.

The artisanal cocktails here are the most popular menu items. They cost between KRW22,000 (~USD16.92) to KRW 26,000 (~USD20) per glass. While slightly pricey, we hear that it’s worth every dollar, especially when paired with the spectacular views and good service offered by Rooftop KLOUD. Check out their other drinks here.

Of course, you won’t want to miss out on the food as well. The bar serves a wide variety of cuisines, from Western to Asian. Menu items include Aglio Olio at KRW24,000 (~USD18.46) and Korean Beef Sirloin at KRW65,000 (~USD49.99). Or, if you’re coming in a group and want something to share, a Steaming Seafood Platter at KRW110,000 (~USD84.60) for four people.
New York bar ambiance

The bar’s decor is reminiscent of speakeasy bars in New York. The outdoor terrace screens old Western films via its black and white movie projector throughout the night. With the soft ambient lighting and posh furniture, it is no wonder that Rooftop KLOUD gives off the Roaring Twenties’ vibes.

Rooftop KLOUD is situated on the 21st floor of the AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul in Gangnam. Fear not, you can still be a patron of the bar as Rooftop KLOUD is not exclusive to hotel guests. It is also very accessible as it is conveniently located in front of Yeoksam station.
How to get there:
- Take Line 2 of the Seoul Subway to Yeoksam Station and leave via Exit 4.
- Turn right and walk straight for 1 minute, before turning left and walking straight for another minute. You’ll arrive at the AC Hotel, where you can take the lift up to the 21st floor to reach Rooftop KLOUD.
