Santa buses in Busan
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s common to see Christmas decorations adorning storefronts and lining the streets. However, it’s less common to find not 1, but 2 entire buses fully decked out in Christmas decor. Thanks to 2 enthusiastic bus drivers in Busan, the city now has 2 Santa buses bringing Christmas cheer to commuters this holiday season.

The bus driver of Bus No. 77 voluntarily transformed his vehicle into a Santa bus using a variety of string lights, tube lights, and hanging light ornaments. He explained that he wanted to comfort citizens in these trying times by bringing Christmas cheer to everyone.

Soon after the 1st decorated bus was spotted, another bus driver in Busan also had the same idea and transformed his bus, No. 115-1, into a Santa bus. However, instead of filling it with rainbow lights like bus No. 77, the driver went for a cosy Christmas theme and a giant inflatable Santa perched atop the bus.

The bus is decorated with felt Christmas trees, tinsel garlands, baubles, Santa hats, and a huge festive carpet spanning the aisle of the bus. The decor follows a festive colour scheme – red, green, silver, and gold – ensuring a cosy yet celebratory vibe.
