1. Song Ji-eun – Dream

Song Ji-eun is a multi-talented soloist and actress who starred in My Secret Romance (2017) alongside Sung-hoon.

Dream marks her first album after leaving SECRET in 2018. The pastel teaser images reveal Ji-eun’s soft and dreamy look – just like her album title suggests.
2. Yoon Du-jun – Daybreak

Yoon Du-jun is the leader of the 4-member boy group HIGHLIGHT, which was formerly known as B2ST.

On top of being a singer, Du-jun was working as an actor until his enlistment back in 2018. His notable dramas include IRIS 2: The Movie (2013), Let’s Eat (2013), and Radio Romance (2018).

Du-jun was recently discharged from the military on 10th April 2020 and has been preparing for this solo debut album since.
Through this album, he hopes to share his thoughts, comfort listeners, and tell them that they’re not alone. The album will be released in two versions – “Day” and “Break”.

3. Soyou – GOTTA GO

Soyou, a member of the now-disbanded SISTAR, is a strong vocalist who took on the role of a vocal trainer for Produce 48 (2018) and Produce X 101 (2019).

4. Ravi – Paradise

Ravi debuted in the 6-member group VIXX in 2012, but decided to not renew his contract with Jellyfish Entertainment in 2019. He set up his own hip-hop label GROOVL1N but assures fans that he still plans to promote as part of VIXX.

As a rapper with a passion for composing music, he has produced over 130 songs and mixtapes to date.

His upcoming EP comes with 6 tracks, including Rain Drop. This song featured Na-eun from APRIL, and was released on 23rd June. The title track Paradise will feature HOTSHOT’s Ha Sung-woon, who is a close friend of Ravi.
5. ATEEZ – Zero: Fever Part.1

For the past week, ATINYs have been treated to a slew of promotional content from ATEEZ, including a video introducing the album concept.
The video features top-notch cinematography and an intriguing storyline, leaving fans speculating about the possibility of an extended “ATEEZ Universe”. Pre-orders for the latest albums have exceeded 250,000 copies, with more than a week to go till its release.

Their album has 7 tracks, of which 2 were released on 17th July. ATEEZ members Hong-joong and Min-gi participated in the lyrics composition of 5 songs together with music producer EDEN.

6. APRIL – Hello Summer

APRIL, a 6-member girl group, will be making their summer comeback after their latest release, Lalalilala, in April.
Their upcoming album Hello Summer is their 8th mini-album, and its title track is called Now Or Never.
Individual teaser pictures released over the past few days showcase the bright personalities of APRIL thanks to the use of vibrant, summery colours.

7. Eric Nam – The Other Side

It has been around nine months since Eric Nam released his last mini-album, Before We Begin, and fans have been wanting for more.

Through The Other Side, Eric Nam hopes to tell everyone that there is always more than one side to one’s everyday life. While we can put on a facade of positivity, there can be a tinge of sadness inside.

The Other Side seeks to comfort those who struggle with negativity and bring hope to them. As a songwriter-singer, Eric Nam was involved in writing the lyrics for 4 of the tracks in the album – Trouble With You, Paradise, How You Been, and Love Die Young (Korean Version).
8. Jessi – 3rd Mini Album

Jessi first rose to mainstream popularity in 2015 when she competed with other budding female rappers in Unpretty Rapstar Season 2 and emerged as the runner-up. She is well-known for her strong and carefree personality.
Jessi’s label P-Nation has released three motion teasers on their Facebook page, as well as an audio teaser of Put It On Ya, featuring BM from KARD and nafla.

9. Hong Eun-ki – Flower

Hong Eun-ki was a member of the 7-member project group RAINZ, which consisted of 6 other participants of the second season of Produce 101. The group officially disbanded on 28th October 2018, a year after their debut. He then debuted as a solo artist in 2019 with the single Blow.
Hong Eun-ki placed 38th on Produce 101 Season 2 (2017) before getting eliminated in episode 8.

10. Kang Daniel – Magenta

In 2017, Kang Daniel ranked 1st in Produce 101 Season 2 and made his debut in the project boy group Wanna One.
After leaving Wanna One, he made his solo debut under Konnect Entertainment with the mini-album Color On Me. The title track, What Are You Up To, topped charts and gained recognition among K-pop fans worldwide.

11. SATURDAY – D.B.D.B.DIB

SATURDAY is a 5-member rookie girl group which consists of Ju-yeon, Ha-neul, A-yeon, Yuki and Min-seo. They made their debut on July 2018 with the single Mmook JJi BBa.
Their most recent song, BByong, has garnered 1.7 million views since its release on 19th September 2019.
They frequently upload dance covers on their YouTube channel. Popular dance covers include a K-pop medley of music from 1997-2009 and SNSD’s Kissing You.
Their upcoming album D.B.D.B.DIB follows a youthful school concept that will showcase a fresh side of SATURDAY.

12. (G)I-DLE – DUMDi DUMDi

(G)I-DLE recently released i’M THE TREND, composed by Yuqi and Minnie, and it became viral among fans.
They also recently launched their new show, Never Ending Neverland, on 21st July. Naturally, their fans have been stoked about what’s next.
DUMDi DUMDi is the first summer song from (G)I-DLE, and it’s said to have an exciting beat, catchy melody and lyrics that are easy to follow. Leader So-yeon was involved in composing and writing the lyrics for the song.
13. 1TEAM – ULLAELI KKOLLAELI

The 5-member rookie boy group, consisting of Ru-bin, BC, Jin-woo, Je-hyun, Jung-hoon, made their debut on 27 March 2019 with the mini-album Hello!.
The album jacket photos for 1TEAM’s upcoming single was taken by renowned photographer Park Sung-je, who has photographed idol groups such as Red Velvet, Seventeen, NCT 127, and IZ*ONE.
Their upcoming track, Ullaeli Kkollaeli, was composed by one of their members, BC.

14. ENOi – W.A.Y (雨)

ENOi stands for “wE caN dO iT”. This rookie boy group consists of La-on, Do-jin, Ha-min, A-vin, Jin-woo, J-Kid, and Gun. Laon was a former BOYS24 Unit Blue member under C&J E&M.
The group made their debut on 19 April 2019 under Kithewhale Entertainment with the single Bloom.

15. TREASURE – debut

TREASURE’s members were picked through YG Entertainment’s survival show, YG Treasure Box.

Initially a 7-member group, TREASURE is now made of 12 members – Haruto, Bang Ye-dam, So Jung-hwan, Kim-Jun-kyu, Park Jeong-woo, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Choi Hyun-suk, Mashiho, Kim Do-young, Yoshinori, Park Ji-hoon and Asahi.
The group was originally set to be a 13-member group named TREASURE 13, with 2 sub-units – TREASURE and MAGNUM. However, after the departure of a member, YG Entertainment decided to debut them as one group.

TREASURE’s pre-debut videos were immensely popular. In particular, their 미쳐가네 (Going Crazy) performance film gained 23.9 million views. Their debut concept teaser was released on 20th July.
16. Han Seung-woo (VICTON) – solo debut

Han Seung-woo debuted in 2016 as the leader of the 7-member boy group, VICTON. He then joined Produce X 101 and ranked 3rd overall before making his second debut in X1, a project group.

After X1 was disbanded, he returned to VICTON and promoted their second single album, Mayday, which was released on 2nd June 2020.
Han Seung-woo is the first member of VICTON to make a solo debut.
17. Park Bo-gum – All My Love

Besides making fans swoon thanks to his K-drama appearances, Park Bo-gum will be capturing hearts with his vocals come 10th August.
The actor will be releasing a single called All My Love, which depicts his love for his fans. The ballad track was composed, written, and produced by singer-songwriter Sam Kim.
Park Bo-gum has previously released 3 Korean singles and a Japanese studio album Blue Bird (2020).
The song will be released digitally on 10 August, which coincides with Park Bo-gum’s debut anniversary. Physical copies of the album will available from 12th August onwards.

18. ITZY

5-member girl group ITZY is in the midst of preparing for their comeback at the end of July. The rookie group made their debut last year with DALLA DALLA, which helped ITZY gain popularity and amass a solid fanbase. Their 2nd mini-album, IT’z ME, and the title track, WANNABE, claimed the top spot on the Gaon Album Chart.
19. BLACKPINK

Following How You Like That on 26th June, BLACKPINK will be joining the lineup of upcoming K-Pop comebacks by dropping another pre-release single, as well as their first full Korean album.
Their 2nd pre-release single is set to come out in August, and their album in September. This comes after a year-long wait for Blinks, who are understandably excited about BLACKPINK’s comeback.
20. Taemin (SHINee)

Taemin was originally confirmed to join the ranks of upcoming K-Pop comebacks and release a solo album in July, but plans were delayed because of an injury sustained while practising the choreography for his upcoming track. Although SM Entertainment has yet to confirm Taemin’s new comeback schedule, fans know that his health is the most important and have been patiently waiting.

Over the past few years, Taemin has challenged himself with a plethora of music styles, evident in songs such as Danger (2014), Move (2017), and Want (2019).
21. BXK (Boys X King) – debut

BXK (Boys X King) is a 6-member boy group scheduled to debut in July under New Planet Entertainment, home to rapper TRUEDY, the winner of Unpretty Rapstar Season 2.
The group consists of June, Chan-seung, Inu, Ki-tae, Dong-hwan and Teen, with an average age of 19.

Lately, the group has been garnering attention through their Instagram posts and frequent VLive videos. An introduction video of their members was released on 22 June.

22. ONF (On N Off)

According to WM Entertainment, ONF will make their comeback in mid-August. The 6-member boy group’s most recent album was Go Live, released on 7th October 2019.

ONF recently competed on Mnet’s idol survival show Road To Kingdom (2020) and emerged as the runner-up among other boy groups such as The Boyz, Pentagon, and Oneus.
23. Cherry Bullet

Cherry Bullet is reportedly making their summer comeback in early August. The group made their debut in January 2019 with their first single album, Let’s Play Cherry Bullet.
Cherry Bullet has seen 3 members, Kokoro, Linlin and Mi-rae, leave the group. Their most recent single, Hands Up, was their first song as a 7-member girl group.
24. LUNARSOLAR – debut

LUNARSOLAR is a 4-member girl group that will debut at the end of August. The group’s name was derived from combining the words “LUNAR”, which reflects their mysterious and chic charm, and “SOLAR”, which reflects their passion and energy.
LUNARSOLAR is said to be a girl group with strong vocals and versatility. Although not much is known about the group, the members have showcased lots of aegyo on their social media platforms.
