Song Joong-ki has reportedly been offered the lead role in the upcoming drama The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family, which is based on a web novel.

Based on a web novel, The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family is about a man taking revenge on a rich family who falsely accused him of embezzlement. He ends up dying at the hands of the family after serving them for more than a decade. Feeling aggrieved, he reincarnates and returns as the youngest son of the rich family to exact revenge.
If Joong-ki accepts the offer, he will take on the role of the male lead.

In Vincenzo, Joong-ki played the role of Vincenzo Cassano, the consigliere for the mafia. The drama scored high ratings and gained international popularity. Joong-ki was widely praised for his acting in Vincenzo, and was nominated for the “Best Actor” award at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
He is currently working on a new movie, Bogota. It is a crime thriller that also stars Lee Hee-joon. The release date for the movie is not confirmed.
Song Joong-ki to star in The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family
The main cast for The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family will be confirmed in autumn, and filming will start in the 2nd half of this year.
Song Joong-ki is a talented actor and we look forward to seeing him star in another drama. Hopefully, he will accept the offer to lead The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family.
The drama will air in 2022.
