Ottogi’s Curry Toothpaste Will Spice Up Your Life & Actually Clean Your Teeth

Ottogi curry toothpaste

Ottogi is a Korean company specialising in food manufacturing, while 2080 specialises in oral care products. While it makes sense for the two companies to collaborate, nobody anticipated the abomination birthed by the liaison between Ottogi and 2080 – a curry-flavoured toothpaste.

What to know about the Ottogi curry toothpaste

Ottogi’s curry-flavoured toothpaste may seem gimmicky, but it works just as well as a regular one. It contains Vitamin E, sodium fluoride, and tocopheryl acetate. These ingredients help brighten your teeth, prevent tooth decay and gum disease, and removes bad breath.

The toothpaste also contains turmeric extract, which means you’ll smell a subtle curry scent at first. But fret not, the curry smell will not overpower the mint base of the toothpaste. In addition, turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties, which means it may help soothe swollen gums.

Ottogi’s curry-flavoured toothpaste follows the law of 3-3-3. First, it takes three minutes to cook Ottogi’s curry. Second, you should brush your teeth within three minutes of consuming Ottogi’s curry to prevent it from staining your teeth. Finally, brush your teeth for three minutes for best results.

The toothpaste comes with a 3-minute hourglass to help you keep track of time while brushing your teeth.

Although you may be tempted to do so, Ottogi’s curry-flavoured toothpaste shouldn’t be ingested, no matter how delicious it tastes.

Netizens’ reactions

Ottogi’s curry-flavoured toothpaste is here for a good time but not for a long time as it’s limited edition. Check out Gmarket to buy Ottogi’s curry-flavoured toothpaste, which is currently priced at KRW16,830 (~USD14.74) for two sets.

Ottogi’s curry-flavoured toothpaste may seem bizarre, but rest assured that it will remove plaque from your teeth. It can also be used as a spicy pick-me-up when morning and night routines get mundane.

This unusual toothpaste makes for a fun gift for curry lovers. If you have family and friends who love curry or weird lifestyle goods, Ottogi’s curry-flavoured toothpaste is the perfect gift for them.
