Situated in the land of seafood and satoori (Korean dialect), Coralani Cafe is an exceptionally large cafe where everything – from the sea to their bean bags – is blue, but for the best reason. Thanks to this striking accent colour, the cafe looks like something you’d find in Santorini. But be warned – the cafe is popular even on weekdays.

You can easily make-believe that you’re in Greece instead of a cafe in Busan as the white-and-blue cafe is reminiscent of the whitewashed houses on the cliffs of Santorini.

The first level of the cafe is simply known as the ground level, but levels 2 and 3 are more whimsically named. The second floor is called the “ocean”, and the third is known as the “sky”. Finally, the fourth floor is where you can find the rooftop.
Note that levels 2, 3, and 4 are no kids zones.

The ground level is where the beanbags and order counter are located. This is the ideal place to enjoy the sea view, though you will have to endure the merciless heat during the peak of summer.
But as there are huge parasols placed in this seating area, you’d at least be shielded from direct sunlight.

If you’re not a fan of sitting outdoors, you can always opt for the shaded tables located on the second and third floors.
By the way, there’s a nap room on the fourth floor, just in case you need a siesta after a full meal.

While the bean bags and parasols are pretty additions to your photos, consider heading to the high tables and chairs as they are a great alternative if you want something different from the regular photozone.
On top of that, you can also avoid the crowd of fellow cafe-goers angling for the perfect Instagram shot.

Coralani Cafe is a good location for a first date as it can get romantic towards the evening. We don’t mean to set the bar too high or give you unrealistic expectations, but watching the sunset while listening to the sound of crashing waves seems like the making of an unforgettable date.

High-rise buildings in cities are great until they ruin the view of the sunset. But not to worry, this won’t happen here as you’ll get an unobstructed view of not only the sunset, but also the vast blue sea.

There are hidden steps where you can enjoy a private moment away from the crowd, so make sure you check out the entirety of the cafe before getting a seat.
We encourage you to ask for directors from the cafe staff if you’re unable to locate these steps that double as seats.

From vintage-themed cafes to a port that resembles Venice, Busan is brimming with trendy spots that you shouldn’t sleep on.
If you’ve added Coralani Cafe to your itinerary, we highly encourage you to take a cab or car there. Parking shouldn’t be a cause for concern as there are plenty of parking lots within the cafe.
