Newly Opened KOYO Dessert Shop Sells Mont Blanc Bingsu That Looks Just like Soba Noodles

Mont Blanc bingsu at KOYO Dessert Shop

Located near Seoul National University Station, KOYO Dessert Shop is a new cafe that sells a variety of sweet treats made with fresh fruits. The highlight of KOYO Dessert Shop is their signature Mont Blanc bingsu, which looks like soba noodles at first glance.

KOYO Dessert Shop currently serves two flavours of Mont Blanc bingsu – chestnut and peach. Both are served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, red bean paste, and a meringue.

The Peach Mont Blanc Bingsu (KRW14,500, ~USD12.20) contains mango yuzu jelly, peach compote, and fresh peaches, while the Chestnut Mont Blanc Bingsu (KRW13,500, ~USD11.36) contains banana, walnuts, and raspberry compote.

The bingsu resembles soba noodles thanks to a generous helping of vermicelli-shaped fruit puree ladled on top of a mountain of shaved ice.

Depending on how sweet you want your Mont Blanc bingsu to be, you can either drizzle all the compote over it or add small amounts to the ice as you work your way through.
