Min Sun-ah, played by Shin Min-ah, decides to abandon her city lifestyle and moves to Jeju. She meets Lee Dong-suk, played by Lee Byung-hun, who sells trucks to make a living. Although Dong-suk shows interest in her, he realises that she keeps her past only to herself.

Park Jung-joon, played by Kim Woo-bin, works as a ship captain. He has an easy-going personality and is  known as an amiable guy by those around him.

Since he’s residing in Jeju, he seeks to find someone who’s willing to stay with him on the island. That’s when he meets Lee Young-ok, played by Han Ji-min, who spends a great deal of her time in the sea.
