On 8th July, it was reported that Heechul & TWICE’s Momo have ended their relationship, leaving fans of the couple heartbroken.

According to Korean news outlet Star Today, an entertainment official claimed that Heechul and Momo have broken up due to their busy schedules.
In early August 2019, rumours of Heechul and Momo dating started circulating online, but both Heechul and Momo’s agencies denied the rumours.
On 2nd January 2020, after rumours of their relationship resurfaced, their agencies confirmed that the two were indeed dating. Heechul and Momo had a close sunbae-hoobae (senior-junior) relationship, and their relationship eventually became a romantic one.
In a telephone interview, SM Entertainment told Top Star News that the agency is currently checking with Heechul on the status of his relationship with Momo.
According to Sports Chosun, JYP Entertainment has also responded, saying the agency will be looking into the matter.
Korean idols are known to have hectic schedules. Since popular idols such as Heechul and Momo are always in demand, it’s no surprise that their schedules affected their relationship.
It must have been difficult to maintain a romantic relationship while working in the entertainment industry. We’re saddened by the news, but we wish them all the best with their current and future projects.
