Geochang Gamaksan Wind Farm is located 900m above sea level. At that height, nearby cities look like dioramas, the air is fresh, and the views are breathtaking.
From the complex, you get a unique top-down view of Geochang’s 3 national parks: Jirisan, Deogyusan, and Gayasan. Seeing a panoramic view of these parks might remind you of just how high up you are.

To let you fully appreciate the stunning views and rest your feet, the complex has observatory platforms and pavilions scattered all around.

If hiking is on your to-do list for your South Korea trip, drop by Gamaksan and visit the Geochang Gamaksan Wind Farm while you’re there. The sprawling rainbow-coloured flower fields and mesmerising views will make it worth your while.
We recommend travelling via taxi to the area, as taking the bus would require a hike up towards the wind farm.
