Korea’s cafe scene is so trendy and hip that it’s often imitated, but never duplicated. That’s because Korea is the land of coffee addicts, and yes, Koreans take their coffee very seriously.
On 16th August, Baskin Robbins Korea launched three different items in collaboration with Maxim Coffee, also known as one of the top instant coffee brands in Korea. Considering how merciless the summer heat is in Korea during this time of year, the collaboration is timely and almost like a saving grace.

The collab comprises three different items , namely the Maxim Mocha Gold Ice Cream, Maxim Gold Blast and Maxim Stick Bar.

Summer screams ice cream. The Maxim Mocha Gold Ice Cream is basically Maxim’s best-selling coffee – Mocha Gold Coffee Mix – in an ice cream form. You can choose to have it served in a cup or cone.

The Maxim Gold Blast is a blend of coffee with milk and ice. Its creamy texture is similar to a slushie or frappuccino, and it’s the perfect drink for coffee lovers who want to drive the sultry heat away.

The Maxim Stick Bar is a great snack to have while you’re working from home or catching up on your K-dramas. Each box contains two flavours – Maxim Coffee’s Mocha Gold Mild and White Gold. The former contains milk, cream and sugar, while the latter contains fat-free milk and cream, as well as xylose sugar.
Although it’s only been a few days since the launch of Baskin Robbin Korea and Maxim Coffee’s menu, many netizens have expressed keen interest in their collaboration.

For those living in Korea, you can participate in an ongoing event between 17th August and 23rd August. All you have to do is tag your friends on Baskin Robbin Korea’s Instagram page and follow their account.
Five winners will be given mobile vouchers to redeem a Maxim Gold Blast drink, and another five winners will be given mobile vouchers to exchange for a single scoop of the Maxim Mocha Gold Ice Cream. Winners will be announced on 27th August.
The collab between Baskin Robbins Korea and Maxim Coffee kills two birds with one stone – the items are a sweet treat for coffee lovers, and they bring comfort to those worn out by the scorching August sun.
